Alejandro Fernandez

The Peruvian artist was born in 1969 in the town of Ayacucho, which is set aid Peruvian mountains in the backdrop, and is currently living and working in Milan.

After studying Plastic Arts and graduating from Arts School in Peru, he can be regarded today as one of the best known modern artists of his country. His work was on show in a number of collective art exhibits and has won noteworthy awards.

His work of schematized “windows/curtains” manages to convey all the tumultuous force of matter of informal works.

What results is a tale, a narration embodying sounds (signs) and words (colours).

  • second prize “Estandàr Internacional Club Perdano de Orquìdeas”, Lima, Peru
  • third prize in Painting “ Primiera Conferencia Internacional de Orquìdeas”, Vancouver, Canada
